Program Requirements
Willing, motivated and committed to sobriety and growth goals
Willing to follow "agreement" contract
Commitment to 10hrs weekly house time
Mandatory Sunday night house meetings
Willing to commit 30 hrs weekly to work, school, outpatient treatment or volunteering

Helen's House is a chemical-free Christian home open to women who are either new in recovery, looking to recreate their lives in a structured environment, or are seeking encouragement and support, in an already established, spiritually led, healthy, sober lifestyle. We hope that through God's love, peace, understanding, and acceptance, we can work together and through faith, find harmony, in a family-oriented, nurturing home.

In unity, our goal is to support one another, respecting our individualism, while healing the inner turmoil that tempts us into destructive, addictive behaviors ruining our lives. Together we set goals to practice healthy habits producing continuous growth, stability and wellness that will allow us to connect, reconnect and stay connected to our family, friends, community, ourselves, and most importantly God.

But The Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Rooms vary by size, price, and number of occupants.
Rooms are priced between 700-900$ per month, there is also a mandatory $300.00 sober/security deposit.

Helens House is conveniently located just on the outskirts of Downtown Minneapolis in an urban, upbeat neighborhood. There is a wonderful array of churches, meetings, coffee shops, parks, and bus lines just steps away. We are blessed to be able to provide a home with many bright, sunrooms offering plenty of space and opportunity for quiet time with God, studying, self-reflection, or comfortable relaxation and social time with large flat-screened TV's in multiple lounging areas.
For summertime fun, a privately fenced in yard with a large deck, fire-pit, and flower gardens, makes for an eventful or tranquil "Eden" on earth. Divided on four floors, Helen's House offers 10 shared bedrooms, 6 baths, 2 full kitchens, and laundry. There is also full-time, live in staff with separate quarters. Security cameras, in common areas provide a sense of protection and security.
